ruote tmp/log_2011-08-18.html

2011-08-18 09:53:16 utc joelio Hi all, I'm new to ruote.. I've played with it a little bit and it looks like a fantastic engine.
2011-08-18 10:17:01 utc joelio Is it possible to implement a synchroniztion pattern [1] that can take an arbitrary number of inputs (defined, for example, in some configuration file). I'd like to develop in essence an event correlator for log events with the idea being I can predefine the number of instances a (for example) failed SSH logon attempt happens on different machines, but acts on my centralized log host. One the Nth host has received the same failed logon attempt from a given IP then

2011-08-18 10:17:35 utc joelio That's just a *very* loose cobbled-together example, so apologies if it doesn't make too much sense
2011-08-18 10:18:04 utc joelio .. and yes, I realise I can do with with other tools (swatch, logsurfer etc) but I want to do this in Ruby

2011-08-18 15:44:55 utc jmettraux not sure I would use ruote for that, it seems like a permanent watch of a set of files
